Question:

Will Acupuncture Improve The Look Of My Fingers?

Years of cracking my knuckles have caused them (mainly my index finger) to become swollen and some what mishappen. I was wondering if acupuncture could help "straighten" my fingers and give them that slender feminine look I once had.

  1. There's no evidence to show cracking knuckles causes such symptoms, which sounds to me like either rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis, or even hemochromatosis). The first is treatable as an autoimmune disease.

Perhaps you've already seen a doctor. I've never heard of acupuncture solving this problem, but you never know.

  2. lol, yeah getting needles stuck in you can change the structure of your skeleton

  3. Acupunture could certainly help you with this problem. It would allow the meridians through your hands and fingers to open up properly and let the energy flow correctly. This coupled with some massage should help loosen the fingers up and reduce any swelling.
