It is possible.  

The continents float on top of the mantle and as such are at the whim of the movements of the mantle.  The mantle's movement is driven by the currents in the magma that takes heat from the core to the mantle.  That process is constantly in a state of flux.  The periodic magnetic pole reversals are as a result of changes in the magma currents.

Both will happen eventually.  A small part of some of the continents might get subducted into the mantle but most will just get welded onto continents at the subduction zone.  So one day there will be another supercontinent like Pangea but don't count on mankind to be around to see it.

The techtonic plates, the things that cause earthquakes, mountain ranges, volcanoes, etc... are moving the continents constantly.  Pangea, the once-existing "super continent," was split apart by the plates to form the7 continents.  Eventually, over time, the plates will move the continents enough to have a super continent once more.  It will probably look nothing like Pangea, but once this body of land has formed, the techtonic plates will stop moving altogether.

Yes it is a distinct possibility.

past geodynamic processes are the key to the future geodynamic processes.

for this to happen the volume of earth need to be reduced and/or the simatic oceanic crust has to be consumed or transformed into continental crust.

These processes cannot be replicated as laboratory models however, computer aided modelling could be done to perceive this  though with restricted numbers of parameters.

Both. But some land mass will always remain. The crust is constantly cycling.
