I think that Russia is pushing it. Before long something has to push back, looks like it will have to be America that pushes back Georgia isn't strong enough to do it their selves and they are a very close ally.

  1. Bush  will probably go to war with Rusiia, i wouldn;t put it past him.

then knowing the british government they will follow, just like they did in iraq

  2. Why should we?

For the last 17 years South Ossetia and Abhazia were independent........

and now Georgia decided that they like to have that land for themselves.

    Well actually :

The $4 billion Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, named for the capitals of Azerbaijan and Georgia and a Turkish province, passes within 100 miles of the South Ossetian capital of Tskhinvali.

Carrying a million barrels a day, the BTC pipeline is separated from the Russian-backed region (which Monday is said to be totally under Russian control) by over 10,000 Georgian soldiers. It has also been buried underground for most of that stretch to prevent attacks by saboteurs.

It is about oil supply to Europe.......and now Georgia need this land.

That land DO NOT BELONG TO Georgia.

President of Aphasia, Sergey Bagapsh, and Ossetia's Edward Kokoyte would like their country to be independent from Georgia, and Georgia denied that request.

THAT LAND NEVER BELONG TO GEORGIA.

Stalin(Georgian himself started the genocide) and now Georgian military have been killing abhazians and osetians for years.

So they ask for help from Russia. Russian Federation has taken the autonomous Georgian regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia under its wing.

MONEY AND OIL IS AT THE ROOT OF THIS CONFLICT. WHO IS GOING TO CONTROL IT........

    Saakashvili or Putin.......

    Why should we get involved?

  3. Doubtful.  The anti war people are probably gathering right now to avoid any confrontation.  They don't care about anything but their social gatherings of draft dodgers.

  4. Peace agreement is already reached, I don't know if it is signed already by all sides.

Russian army on its way to S.O. now, georgian to its bases.

There are no major fighting, except some georgian provocations now.

I can assure you russian tanks won't enter georgian capital.

Though I hope that some special forces according to UN will come one day to take georgian president to the international prison.

  5. I doubt it.  I don't think even Bush and Cheney are that crazy or stupid.  Of course, they have surprised me before.  The U.S. doesn't have the military or the economy to take on Russia right now unless taxes are raised and the draft reinstated.  Either or both would make the feds even more unpopular than they are now.  Another war for oil, which is what this would be, is the last thing the U.S. needs.  Allot of people seem to have forgotten that war isn't a good thing.  Of course, if the U.S. and Europe were completely powered by solar and wind energy there wouldn't be any fighting in Georgia because oil wouldn't determine who has the power.

  6. Where is f***y Kaplan?

  7. I wouldn't doubt it with a warmonger like Bush for president.

  8. Europe is trying to negotiate, perhaps that will help.

  9. for the 1,543,453,654,234,776,453,034th time....NO!

  10. US had to chose allies wiser. Saakashvili has committed crimes against humanity and now he is trying to drag US into war with second nuclear power in the world. Even if russians are wrong, and georgians are right, russians still posses enough nukes to twice turn this planet into an inhabitable radioactive desert.
