  1. 50% chance, They use a different format than we do it's called PAL ours is NTSC

  2. i could be wrong but i don't believe so... i think we're one of the few regions that use NTSC, most of the rest of the world uses PAL

  3. no cause there, u need to change them to european style. they are different from america.

  4. I'm quite sure they do. Don't guarantee it though.

  5. Most DVDs are region locked. Not all DVD discs are region locked, but pretty much all of the big studio releases are. (Warner, Universal, Paramount, etc.)

The USA is region 1 whereas Romania is region 2, so they will need to have a multi-region DVD player in order for them to work.

Fortunately, most common Chinese-made DVD players (non brand name) are either multi-region out of the box, or can be made multi-region via the remote. Similarly with DVD drives used in computers. If they have a brand name player, however, such as a Sony or a Panasonic, they may have problems.

Also, American DVDs are NTSC whereas Europe uses PAL, but that's no problem as pretty much all modern European equipment supports NTSC as well as PAL.

  6. yes, if you have the correct region dvd player, or a non-region dvd player (most common ones are nowadays)
