Will American universities accept me with just me GCSE's or do i need to do Sixth Form to gain GCE's?

Trying to stufy university in America, Not sure what qulaifications need to be accepted. What age do i need to be? Do i need to complete sixth form in England first.

I am 16 year old is this too young to be accepted by an american university.Will this help me to gain citizenship to America. If anyone knows how please help me!

All the people I know who have gone to the US for university have had A levels.  Think about it, the knowledge you learn at GCSE level is far too basic to go on and study at university and you will be down two years worth of education which is a lot in relative terms.  Plus 16 is far too young to be going to university, despite how mature you may feel now (trust me, you'll know what I mean when you're older!).
