  1. No they won't.

  2. I hope not i am very proud of our flag.

  3. No Australia has no plans on changing the flag at the moment and we're still part of the commenwealth (hence the union jack).

Even during the 1999 referendum about becoming a republic (which had a majority no vote) wasn't going to change the flag or anthem. While in recent years there have been proposals to change the flag they have failed to get public support.

    Hope that helps! :)

  4. Inevitably one day we will as we can't go around forever with another countries flag inside our own.

  5. Let's hope we get rid of that stupid irrelevant Union Jack asap - the Southern Cross can stay.

  6. No. A bigger percentage of Australia's population each year belongs to an older age group. If the majority hasn't been been motivated in the past 30 years to make a change, what would possibly sitr them up enough to change in the next 40? As the medium age our our population continues to rise, there is even less likelihood that this issue would gain any real traction in a public debate. Most will want to stay with tradition.

  7. no way

  8. yup

    They just bought Georgia's.

No wonder I couldn't get a date there.
