  1. BT will carry out this work without a problem. The connection fee is £124.99 including VAT which you are aware of. This charge Will be correct when you place the order. The only next consideration is if extra cabling, poles or u/g work is needed they can at times pass the charge onto you. They always have to confirm with you first so no worry, worse thing is when you get told extra charges just ask them to cancel the order. Past experience annexe's are normally fine, portakabin's are a whole different situation but no need to go there. Call BT, get an order raised and go from there....

  2. Hi

Just buy a phone extension and run the cable out yourself.

    Ray. West York's. U.K.

  3. If its a new line and new number not a problem.

However if you want an extension off your existing line then BT will ask a small fortune to run and extension - if the engineer could get wet if its raining its classed as an external extension.

You could of course run an extension yourself being careful to run it where it could not get cut. As an alternative to this if the annex is not too far away you could look at a cordless (dect) handset.

    Hope this helps?

  4. Yes they will and will charge the standard installation fee.

I think it is still £124.99

  5. yes i had the same thing done a couple of years ago. i cant remember the exact figure but the installation fee was very reasonable. i did have a declination route through my lawn afetrwards though so i suggest you ask if nything can be done to avoid that
