Our phone line is on the top level of three flats and is knocked about by a tall tree in a garden. it is a Talk, Talk set up. Does this cause any problem and who cuts such tree branches & who pays for this?

  1. BT will tell you (or whoever it is that owns the tree) to get the tree pruned. They won't replace a line until the problem is cleared otherwise it will just happen again.

  2. BTown the cable and are responsible for maintaining it. You could ask them to have a look at it. It would be up to them to decide on any action to take.
