I think Rafa was being more than a bit sarcastic. He has never seen eye-to-eye with Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce and his team’s physical approach. Both Steven Nzonzi and Pascal Chimbonda should have been sent off, and Benitez was just happy to get the three points.
