historically the player on the cover of Madden suffers an injury and/or a poor performance during that season. More than likely Brett will suffer the curse also.

  1. I think the curse struck Favre as opposed to the Jets.

Think of it this way, he's now on the Jets. Look at what they did last year.

It has the opposite affect on the jets because they now have him.

So the curse has struck favre but not the lowly jets.

  2. no, but it already hurt him lol

  3. This is the part where Brett FAVRE breaks the curse. Hes gunna break it just watch.

  4. your right but 2 things to think of....1. he is in a packer unifrom and 2. Vince Young offically broke the curse.

  5. YES!!! it will be hilarious too

  6. Let's be realistic here.......the dude has been calling phoney retirements for about 3 years straight, and its only a matter of time before he actualy retires. So you have to think as if this is going to be his final season. This year he has to learn a new system, and has to try to work with mediocer recievers. You also have to consider the possibility that this will be one of his 17+ interception years (which is probably will be).

Point being.........the guy has about a year or two to get them into the playoffs (which they will only be able to do trough wild card). If he is hurt this season, or preforms horrible then it will be a huge waste, because he can only play in the NFL for so many years before he gets a good hit that will make him retire (like steve young).

  7. I don't think so.

  8. well brett has  histry of not getting injured/playing with injuries so he';ll be alright

  9. I think he will be like Neil O'Donnel.  He takes the Steelers to the SuperBowl and than goes to the Jets and bombs.

Watch for Brent to do the same.

I think he showed a side of himself and his selfish attitude by playing Green Bay the way he did.  This last month has been all about him not what is good for the Packers or the NFL.

Before this, he was my favorite non-steeler in the league.  Not any more.
