Question:

Will Brett Favre play for the Packers this year?

I am betting that with his reinstatement, the Packers are going to let him play. I don't understand why the Packers are pandering to unproven Aaron Rogers. The time to win is now and Favre gives them the best chance.

  1. They've worked with Rogers all off season...ever since Favre retired. If they make Brett the starter, they'll be pandering to him and ignoring what's best for the team. They've worked with Rogers all off season and are ready for him to start. Switching things around for Brett will just set them back. Of course, when you consider the Madden Curse, they'll be set back even further when Brett gets injured or just plain stinks.

  2. why not

  3. he doesnt want to but ya he might he might not

  4. they dont have the cap room to have him

so they need to release some players which i doub tthey will

    favre is out

  5. i certainly hope so... go green bay!!!

  6. Favre needs to retire. I am sick of hearing about him. It's easy to break records when you play football for 15 years. He is overrated and needs to just retire and stay retired!

  7. no he will go to the vikings

  8. As much as I am a fan of Brett Favre, I don't see him leaving the Packers Organization.  The reason being is that to trade him, would only give in to Brett's demands and the team is trying to take the stricter route with him.  Also, he does not want to be traded to any teams other than the ones in the NFC north division.  Green Bay will not allow this and just keep him.  They will force him to take a backseat during camp and offseason and allow Rodgers to continue being the starter...until he screws up and leaves the organization no choice but to put #4 back in.

  9. HAHA....no...hes either going to get traded (to the jets, cuz chad pennington sucks) or take the rediculous $25 million, or however much it is now to stay retired, which is, i must say, the most rediculous thing ive ever seen....hes good, but hes old, and he already made up his mind when he said he retired...if he wanted to play, he should have thought through his decision and made a better one...and to think, i used to like brett farve....
