  1. He won't be closer, barring injury to Saito

I'm actually a big fan of Broxton regardless of wether or not he's the closer.

He has a great K rate, and should help your ERA and WHIP.

He's been roughed up much more this year than last, but setup men like Broxton, Shields, etc get you 4-5 wins and 4-5 saves.

They are always undervalued so you should hang onto him.

  2. I'd drop him.  Saito hasn't had great success but I don't see Torre moving him this year.

  3. Not for the Dodger Dogs.  But I will not say no.  He is good trade bait for a bat that the Dodgers need if they get close to the Diamondbacks.

  4. don't keep him. get rid of him.   there is no way he going to be closer this season. the dodgers closer is doing to good for broxton to come up and be closer.  SO I WOULD TAKE HIM OFF YOUR TEAM!!!

  5. I think he'll see some closer time later in the season.  But being made closer wouldn't help Broxton's value very much.  The Dodgers have produced just 16 Save Opportunities for their bullpen all season, that's the fewest in baseball.  I wouldn't even be high on K-Rod if he got traded to the Dodgers.
