  1. In my worthless? USA opinion, I don't think Judd will help Carlton get to the eight. If Fevola would zone into playing football 24-7, Whitnall was fit, Lappin didn't retire, then Carlton could get to 9th or 10th. Otherwise, I don't think Judd is going to get them over. Looks like 11th or 12th next year for the Blueboys.

One of my mates in Preston is a member, haven't had a chance to e-mail him yet for his opinion.

  2. as a Carlton fan

the last 4 years the blues have not even tried to win, 1 player wont make much difference, until all players put in and have a go and not stand around with there hands on there hips, i cant see much improvement

  3. They may if Richard Pratt takes the players to lunch and a bit of pocket money.however Carlton won't have a hope with 2 ego trippers like Judd and Fevola. Lance has lost his edge, due in part to his yo yo dieting.

Carlton have always been unlucky with  a c**p committee and hangers on to wreck what used to be a very successful club. They lost heavily when paying big $$s for a couple of duds Selvagni and Kouta.

Performance in the board room goes hand in hand with those on the field

  4. I think if they have a very good run with injuries, and good players work well together, then they are a chance to make the 8.

Before you say I`m full of shite, look at who made the 8 this year, and who missed out. The AFL is very unpredictable.

  5. I don't think so,but I'm sure they will do alot better than this year.

I think Judd will make a little difference, but we will just have to wait and see.

I wish them all the best.

  6. No. Carlton sack their coach & get Judd - they then carry on as though those actions are an instant recipe for success.

They treated the young bloke traded to WCE, as part exchange for Judd, like he was a leper. Very disappointing conduct.

Their spokeman said, "That's football." Little did he care of the players welfare.

  7. To answer your question I certainly hope NOT, the big CFC on their guernsey, would have to stand for a..Culture  For Cheating, .

The saying cheats never prosper , obviously is not true in Carlton's case .   They get caught by the AFL for cheating the system lose draft picks in Pagans first year as a result, (Wells and Goddard) poach SWANN as CEO from Collingwood  after this  season had begun, then dismiss Pagan a 2 time Premiership coach, claiming him as a loser.

This is the club that has thumbed their nose's at the AFL,and other clubs for years, do the same to their  young player they send to West Coast, in exchange for Judd and now while they wallow at the bottom of the ladder collecting multiple wooden spoons for their previous misdemeanors , they are REWARDED first, by recruiting Stevens from Port Adelaide and now the so called BEST player in Australia.

Obviously their is simply no justice..... in AFL footy

  8. No.  I think you'll watch your beloved West Coast trounce Juddy's new team at least once, depending only on how many times they play.

Carlton will improve next year but not top 8.  WCE have had a lot more going for them than Judd and I just can't see it in the Navy Blues.

  9. I hope they wallow at the bottom for years to come.

It's payback time for all they years when they bought interstate players from all over the country - & blatantly abused the salary cap restrictions.

They had that puffing Elliott there thumbing his nose at all & sundry. He thought he & the club were untouchable.

    What goes around comes around.

  10. I think they will be much better thean this year, but they are still not top 8 material.

They need more of their younger players to come through, they are a similar team to Hawthorn in their structure of younger players.

  11. maybe just, they have so many developing early first round picks from over the years

  12. If by success you mean not get the wooden spoon then yes they will succeed. If people think they are up with the likes of Geelong, PA, WC etc then Juddy must have brought some of those drugs over with him cause no way that's going to happen.
