  1. Yes, when they play the Dee's.

  2. I think Carlton will be a bit of a force this year once they start to do what coaching staff and Judd have to say when they learn to play as a team they will be great again it only time and that not far away

  3. I think it's pretty safe to assume that Carlton will win a match this year.

  4. if they cant beat the wooden spooners from last year they will be lucky to win 3 for the year another spoon coming out to princes park

  5. not if they can't work out how to defend.

  6. yeah they will win a few 8-10 games, and i think Nick Riewoldt win will it

  7. I can see The Blues being alot more competitive this season, as their young players are developing skill and fitness and they have some great leaders - Judd, Stevens, Fev etc. However, I don't expect Carlton to win the premiership and I would be suprised if they finish in the top 8. Hopefully I'm wrong though! It'd be nice to hear the theme song a bit more often!

  8. Of course Carlton will win a game, they play Melbourne don't they? :)

I don't think Carlton will finish down the bottom, at least in the bottom 3 anyway. Carlton, Bulldogs and Essendon will be some of the most improved sides this year. Also by the looks of things at the moment, Hawthorn as well.

As for the Brownlow, I'm not sure yet. If I had to put money on  anyone, at the moment it would be Chad Cornes or Jonathon Brown. I'd love Scott West or Robert Harvey to win though. :)

  9. Well you might have a relatively inexperienced side (that is probably why Richmond beat you in the first game) but you have some excellent young players as well as the likes of Judd and Fevola.  I can see Carlton winning at least 7 games this season and you got off to not a bad start.  Who knows Judd might win another Brownlow.  It was not a great season for the Blues last year so you can only go up from here and as a result be the season's best improved side (Footscray may be a contender too??).  Good luck.

  10. they will definitely finish near the bottom of the ladder, dont know if it will be AT the bottom though. They will at least win one game, hah

  11. I don't know for certain but I don't think there's been a season in at least the last 75 years in which a team has not won a match. Especially with the evenness of the competition these days.

SO I'd be pretty certain that each team will win at least one match this season which (obviously) includes Carlton.

Brownlow? Very hard to tell so early on, players could be injured and/or suspended which would have a great effect on the brownlow result. But if I had to choose someone now I'd say... Chad Cornes he does a bit of everything - gets possesions, takes marks, kicks goals and can defend, he should be noticed by the umpires a fair bit.
