Will Channel 7 will show any table tennis this Olympics, or only events with Aussies in them?

God I hate water polo. I don't mind handball too much, but really, with so many events/sports to cover, you think Channel 7 would spread the love a little and show some table tennis or badminton in between the endless replays of Australia swimmers winning Gold (WHO CARES!?).

Oh, and swimming. I know we love to pat ourselves on the back for finding a sport we can win medals in, but frankly, swimming is boring. Boring, boring, boring. I think the IOC should roll all of the swimming into 1 event, a 1000 meter medley. Now THAT would be watchable.

Try SBS - they seem to be covering a broader range of sports - and not repeating everything adnauseum like 7!

Try SBS they have a much greater variety of sports and don't have all the bloody ads and repeats that 7 have. SBS also show what time a particular event is on, so you can check out www.yourtv.com.au to see what is on at what time. They showed Australia vs China in the table tennis last night at about 6.00pm.

I LOVE swimming but even I am bored to death watching endless repeats. It totally ruined the gymnastics today (which wasn't shown live because of the water polo. I don't mind them jumping around to watch other live events but they kept cutting from the (non-live) gymnastics to watch the repeats of the swimming they had already shown live less than 4 hours before! The people who missed it the first time because they were at work will still be at work then (5.15) OH well never mind they will see it the third time round this evening!!

yeh channel 7 only broadcasts australian athletes and mainly swimming and if there is no swimming they show the replays... now i watch SBS its much more better.

channel 7 showed over an hour of table tennis today, but sbs is your best bet because they pick events and stick with it until its finished
