Will Chevron, or someone else with more vision, develop the Geothermal Energy of Mt Cameroon?

Chevron is the top one in geothermal, but maybe someone else will do it?

Don't count on the petroleum companies for any energy innovation until the Earth's oil gets close to running out.  For geothermal energy, Iceland has it right.  Good for them - the rest of the World should follow their example.

I do believe so.  As long as there is, profit to be made, someone will do it.

Don’t count Chevron out just because they are well know for gas stations.  For them having a richly diversified energy portfolio adds to their stockholder appeal.

In Africa, the Rift Valley with its high thermal gradients so close to the surface does make a wonderful opportunity for geothermal power plants.
