They will chase both Cousins and Kerr. Collingwood's midfield is too slow at the moment, and their delivery into the forward line is average, so rather than chasing J. Brown, the Pies are looking for some experienced midfielders.

We have too young guns - Dawes and McCarthy - who should make their debut before season's end, and we have Reid, Rocca and Rusling returning next year. We have forwards, they are just not playing currently. We are looking to the future, and Collingwood need midfielders next year.

Collingwood have long dropped the attitude that they need to recruit old experienced players to win games.  They are very big on recruiting extremely talented young players that they can train up and make stars (ie. Dale Thomas).

Theyr stupid if they go after him absolutely stupid. I disagree with what the magpie girl had to say sorry! but even u should know that as a magpie supporter  at the moment its not really their main priority to get a midfielder. And its not the delivery into the forward line thats bad its the forwards themselves. The fact is that Collingwood NEED forwards FORWARDS they have trash in their at the moment im sorry thats y they lose. Ok maybe Medhurst is decent but hes too small. Travis  Cloke; im not even gonna go there hes hopeless. Leon Davis is pretty average at his best. Rocca is past his time say goodbye to him. They have enough in the midfield at the moment. Why waste a trade or a priority pick for ben cousins who is a midfielder and not only that he has a shocking record. Go after someone you need and someone you have better chances of getting maybe Jonathan Brown. The fact is that they need a big forward at the moment they dont have one unlike basically every other side in the comp. (Rocca is not good enough and h**l retire soon.) They may chase him but i rekon their dumb if they do.
