Will Crayola marker ever dry on a spiral notebook cover

I just drew a really pretty rose on the front of a spiral notebook with crayola marker (yeah really stupid) and I wanted to know if it will ever dry

  1. If the notebook cover is shiny or slick, like plastic or vinyl, it probably won't. I think those markers are water based, and with that kind of cover, they sort of sit on the surface, they don't get absorbed as they would on paper. A Sharpie might work better. And I don't think what you did was really stupid, either, it was an experiment. Sometimes experiments don't work. =)

  3. I'm not sure if it will ever dry. Permanent marker is the best thing to use on your book. I've also always experimented on my spiral notebooks and just recently I painted the cover with acrylic paint and when it dried, it was easy to draw on. It was flat and absorbed whatever I used . It can be kinda messy painting it at first but it was like a blank canvas for me and I painted over that writing on the bottom, so I didn't have to worry about trying to find a way to cover it lol
