  1. Of course we will...

...and unlike McSame, President Obama will actually fund veteran's health and rehabilitation.

  2. This would mean that we are winning, they under no circumstance can allow the perception that the U.S. has done something positive to get in the way of their plans to squash all resistance to total control over the people of the U.S.  Why would they show democracy works when they want socialism/communism?  If you do not believe this to be so read John Birch or Ayn Rand.

  3. I'm sure they'll make mention of the troops who have so valiantly done their best to keep peace and order in Iraq. No one wants them to fail, even the "evil liberals" like myself who were against the war. You can disagree with the reasons for going to war but still value and appreciate the troops who are committed to serve their. I pray they come home safely and soon.

  4. "our" where do you get "our" do you have troops.

Me'un Slick don't give a rat tat tat about your troops.

  5. Where the h**l have you been?  Mostly peaceful?  Tell that to the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's who've had family members killed, kidnapped, tortured and raped.  Let alone to the family members who have lost their sons and daughters to this calamity.  Talk about your revisionist history...  Are you employed by Bush's Presidential Library to rewrite his miserable, failed Presidency?

  6. Yes, do not assume that because someone is a democrat they do not honor our soldiers.  My entire family are democrats and we are military.  We are first and foremost, Americans.

  7. First off, I wouldn't exactly call it a democracy yet.  I guess "fragile" covers that though.

Will the Dems set aside a moment to honor our troops?  Of course they will.  Just like Obama wearing the flag pin...  They'll realize that it can  cost votes.

    ******

By the way, I agree w/ Obama's reasoning for not wearing the pin.  However, he changed his mind.  Presented by troop or not.  He should have stuck to his guns.  Old Glory is a symbol of our great nation.  It is not "flare."

  8. "mostly peaceful"?

There are at least two major terrorists attacks per week killing dozens and injuring hundreds more.  What gawdawful hellhole do you live in where THAT is considered "mostly peaceful"?

A military force is good for destroying things and killing people.  At best they can enforce a peace that most people endorse.  Iraq is in the middle of a civil war and all we are doing is making it take too long to finish (mainly because we're afraid that whoever wins it won't give us all the oil we want).

On Edit: Yes, they will honor the troops (and not just when the TV cameras are on them).

  9. If you believe that you still have faulty intelligence.

  10. I seriously doubt that. They have been praying for our loss and defeat for the past five years, why would they suddenly change now? Liberals love anything that hurts their own country.

  11. There are a TON of democrats IN THE MILITARY as well.  You can bet they will.

  12. The Democrats are furious with the troops right now.

    "How dare they win?"

  13. You'll get some lip service and some posturing about how patriotic they are and what a meenie McCain is for saying otherwise even though he didn't.  But, it would do the Democratic party no good to mention the accomplishment in Iraq because it might be construed as an admission of a successful Bush policy and we just can't have that.
