url for dvd player (http://www.consumer.philips.com/consumer/en/gb/consumer/cc/_productid_DVP5960_05_GB_CONSUMER/DVD-Player+DVP5960-05) its just iv had problems with surround sound not haveing the rigt connections in the past

the dvd player has Digital coaxial out and Analogue audio Left/Right i want the speakers conected with digital thanks

  1. The speakers look like a complete scam. Reason: Nothing with a real subwoofer can be that thin, and the speaker grille on the side is begging you to believe that there is a huge woofer inside. Total scam tactic! Have you been able to audition them?

    Also, you do realize that DVDs will look only slightly better on the Philips player, even though they're trying to get you to think "high definition."

    Philips is a reputable company. I'm okay with their unit, but I would not buy the questionable speakers without hearing them first.
