  1. I don't quite understand why you think that David Bowie ought to be knighted. Of course, he is a fascinating musician and a wonderful actor; I could go on for a week about his talents! But one does not get knighted for simply being talented. They must have done something to better society. Being knighted is an honor, not like being in the rock and roll hall of fame, but a real and deep honor that goes back centuries. Perhaps I just have missed something that Bowie did, or do you think that just because he is so very talented and entertaining that he should be knighted?

  2. He should be!!!

  3. If Sir Mick Bumperlips can become a knight - what's stopping David Bowie?

  4. Bowie wants to be a duke I assume to usher in the return of the Thin White Duke.

  5. Yes.At least he should be.As you say Sir Paul McCartney. It was George Harrison and John Lennon who were the best.

    Sir David Bowie seems fair.
