  1. no, its ova for him, maybe a top ten, but no more wins

  2. No, he is done. He'll have to wait for the senior tour where his chiseled physique may pay off playing with the other grandpas

  3. No.  He is toast.

  4. Maybe, but doubtful.  Bernhard Langer has had an unexpected "second wind".

  5. He chooses not to compete in alot of touneys the last few years and his priorities have changed, family. That in itself would make it very hard to compete at the level you need to require a top finish in this day and age in the PGA.

  6. This story goes to show how hard golf can be. This man could hit any shot any where he wanted in '99. Now he is a 5 handicap. Shame of it is, he took it all for granted and now all the talking heads say he is " in a better place in his life" what a crock. Unbelievable talent lost on over confidence and a poor personal life. At least he can say he WAS the #1 player once. He had a great quote attributed to him, a young boy asked him for his autograph and didn't know him. He asked if he was famous.....Duval answered, "I used to be" .....thats golf.

  7. No.  The game has changed so much since he was at the top.  Even if he started playing his best golf (late 90's)  he would be far inferior  to the players now who have adjusted to the more difficult course conditions and strength of field.

  8. No - he might win again but I think it would be too much to expect him to get back #1 in the world.

  9. No.

His whole demeanour suggests lack of motivation.

  10. My guess is no. Good golfers who have made a major dive usually dont make a comeback.  But some have-Hal Sutton would be an example.  The talent pool is very deep. It doesnt take a large slip for the whole world to pass you by.
