yes he will be,bcoz he had played too much cricket. last 18 months he played about 96 matches.so he must be rested in the test matches and can play in the ODI matches

As per reports being circulated, he may opt out of Sri Lankan tour to have much needed break. Considering the fact that India will be playing non-stop cricket till January 2009, it will be a good move.
