Will Essendon get the wooden spoon in the 2007 afl season?

Will the AFL team, Essendon, get the wooden spoon this year and if so, will there coach, Kevin Sheedy get the sack?

No, Sheedy has been trying very hard and they will at least get in the  top 8 . I think Port Adelaide or Geelong might win the Wooden Spoon.

I think Essendon will come close to last position. I think Kevin Sheedy will retire at the end of the year because he is getting old.

No Essendon will not finish last, they are good enough to finish just outside of the top 8.Matthew Lloyd and James Hird makes a big difference to their side, without both of them Essendon are doomed.

Essendon will never sack Sheeds, just like Hird gets to play where ever he feels they have done too much for the club. Hird knows his time is up and he is gettting old. Sheeds will know when his time is up aswell. i say he'd have a few more seasons left in him

If the Dons win the Spoon this year, he should be gone.  I just cant imagine that happening.  I look for Essendon to be hugely improved, probably in the 8.

The Saints and the Pies will battle it out for the spoon. The Bombers will make the eight this year for sure and Sheeds will retire from coaching when he decides to and will go on to help the AFL take the game to the next level.

They'll be in the mix, but I think that the Kangaroos and Carlton will win less games than they will, so probably not.  I don't think they'll sack Sheedy, you'd have to be sure you can replace him with someone better (not sure who that could be).
