I would say his chances are slim given WWE's love of the bigger man. WWE really struggles to carry the high flying characters despite the fan reactions (aka "Heat") + Bourne/ Sydal has failed to demonstrate mic skills necessary to have people pay attention to him at this time.

He did hold the OVW title once but that rarely translates to a successful career in the 'E because everybody and their mama has touched that belt.

In a nutshell, it's all up to the Creative Team and even then, they'll probably end up just bringing back the Cruiserweight title for him and several other new lucha stars that they are bringing in soon

No.  He will get over as a credible wrestler and then they'll move him to Raw or SD.

With Mark Henry and Matt Hardy's feud, they are trying to make the ECW title a serious one again and giving it to Bourne at any point wouldn't help that case.

I can easily see him winning the US and IC and then maybe winning the World title afterwards, but I doubt that he'll ever win the ECW title.

In My opinion he will. He seems like another CM Punk to. Exactly like Punk. Major ROH and Indy wrestler turned WWE Star only with a name change unlike Punk. And I think after he gets a good run with the title, they'll give him a bigger push on RAW or Smackdown, hopefully RAW for me. I think Punk should go to Smackdown and Trips should go back to RAW but the titles can stay the same.

No one can really tell now, he is a rookie, he definitely won't be holding it any time soon. I think he has the potential. First, they have to build him up with some promos, then we have to see what type of competition he is getting, then if we see if he gets tougher competition, then who knows?, he may be in for a title shot, but It doesn't seem like it will happen for a while, I really hope he holds the ECW for awhile, maybe even WWE title or the WHC.
