I know it's WAY early to tell. But suppose they reach the final in good health.......his desire to get the french open must have increased especially after yesterday's defeat........he can't wait to more importantly beat Nadal....more so at the french open!

Well,what do you think?

  1. looool! i think it would be hilarious for federer to beat nadal at the french open.. the game was so close yesturday that it was so devastating when he lost!. federer will get his revenger to nadal soon ;P maybe the US open?

    who knows

but overall. well done nadal :)

  2. Thats gonna be pretty tough for Federer! but you never know.

  3. am i god.anything can happen.

  4. Absolutely no chance, that Federer will do the same at the French Open, but as you said it is way to early.

If Roger goes away brings some new elements to his game, gets a couple of wins over Nadal between now and then, then he might stand a very small chance.

I think yesterdays loss was his most crushing, at the French it wasn't really a surprise for him, but he came to final talking a good game and expecting to win

Ii won't be revenge at all, if he beats him at the US and Oz open, those two tournaments, to these two guys and nowhere near as important as the F.O and Wimbledon.

  5. I love Fed, but, honestly, I'm sick of getting my hopes up during the French.  This year, since he did so well up to the finals, I thought maybe he (and his new coach) had something special planned for Nadal in the finals.  Then he completely bombed out.  Nadal definitely is the king of clay.  I WANT Federer to work hard and figure out how to beat Nadal at next year's French... but I won't be hoping, expecting or holding my breath.

I think we're still waiting for the man who will beat Rafa at RG to emerge.

  6. That would be sweet justice wouldnt it?

Winning the French Open would make Federer the best tennis player of all time regardless of whether he breaks Pete Sampras record of 14

  7. In short... No.

Nadal is 22, he didn't drop a set in Paris this year and is just starting to reach his peak, especially on clay.  He will be the overwhelming favorite in Paris for the next 3-4 years.  As for Nadal's breakthrough in Wimbledon this year, you could see it coming.  He took Roger to 5 sets last year and while you never felt he was going to win, there was a momentum building that Rafa was getting stronger on grass.  Then he won at Queens this year and was looking on the upswing going into Wimbledon this year.

Hey, I didn't think Nadal would beat Federer this year, but I felt Nadal was going to win eventually.  Nadal is 5 years younger than Federer and is reaching his peak now.  I just don't see how Federer on his worst surface beats arguably the greatest clay court player in history, in Nadal's prime and slightly past Roger's prime.  I base that statement on the fact that most tennis champions win most of their slam events between the ages of 22 to 26.  So, if Federer wants retribution for Paris and London, he needs to whip Rafa in New York in Sept. and in Australia in Jan. to retain his No.1 ranking and to show he is the more "well rounded" champion.

  8. Yeah, it wud b gr8 but unfortunately, Roger is not able to push Rafa to even a five-setter at RG so its tough but i want that to happen!!!

  9. i hope so , perfect revenge
