Will Federer get to the French open final?

Question

I have a feeling he won't. Specially if Djoko plays against Fed in the semis. I don't, I think Federer has reached his peak and now he is on his way down. I do think he will win another grand slam, but I think Clay is over for him.

I'm not sure that he will.  He will make the finals but not the grand final.  I also hope it's between Nole and Rafa with Nole taking the crown ; )

My prediction is that this time they won't meet in the final.

I think Nadal will reach the final, but Federer will probably lose in semi-final or quarter-final against Djokovic, Ljubicic or one of the men of the Argentinian squad...

He certainly played well in Hamburg and seems pretty chipper about his chances in his interviews. He is also being coached by a Spanish claycourt expert.

I wouldn't be so quick to write him off. I think he's a dangerous contender.

I think it is either a SF or a F. I mean he can get defeated early. If he is in the same draw as world no.2 and 3, he is going to have a lot of trouble. lucky there isnt that big server andy roddick there !

That seems a little harsh. I think he will still win Wimbledon and he is still the bookies favourite to win it. He is also the favourite to win the US open as well. I don't think he will ever win the French Open but he stands a good chance of getting to the final this year. He will need an easier route than Nadal though. And as we saw a couple of weeks ago he nearly lost to Hildago who is ranked like 200! Good luck Roger.

Yes he will and he'll win his first French Open title. It'll be Federer versus Nadal for sure, it'll probably be more gruesome because Federer is going to want to push Nadal to his limits this year because Federer feels like he has something to prove and he'll do whatever it takes to win a grandslam. I see an epic 5 sets like the Wimbeldon final last year with Fed prevailing, can't wait to see it.
