  1. for sure. federer will overcome his setback and will do this by winning the up open and the olympics.

  2. He is not unique here. Every top player male or female has had some type of slump.

For example ( grand slams )

Agassi who won the 95 Australian Open didn't win another major until the '99 French Open.

Pete Sampras won the 2000 Wimbledon and didn't win another slam until the 2002 U.S Open

Serena Williams has had one 3 year slump between winning majors and two 2 year slumps between majors.

The point I am trying to make is, it happens  !!!!

It would be absolutely, unequivocally, ludicrous to write off Federer at this point. I for one haven't !!!!!!!!!!!

  3. ANYMORE!! he is going to win the us open and get in at least the semifinal of the aussie open and will probably wiin wimbledon he is in a slump and he will get out of it and to be true for a few months people should relax. Honestly 4 months ago many were saying that federer is the best of all time. He will get out of it and shut everyone up!

  4. He's totally different this season. Perplexingly so. I think its temporary. He will be his normal amazing self soon.

  5. Without question he'll win again. Its a slump. I hope he doesn't retire. His new opponent is the effed up media.

  6. Surely he will.  No doubt this is the worst season ever since he overtook as the World No.1.  He might ended up empty handed in majors this year.  But every top player have their up and down moment.  They are just a normal human being like us.  They can't maintain those kind of level of play all the time.  There are a lot of example of top player where they have their bad moment but manage to bounce back and reach another high level.  For example like what Sampras did in 2002 U.S Open, Agassi worst ever performance in 1997 which lead him to a career low ranking of 141 but manage to bounce back the next 8 years.  Another great example of other sports are Tiger Woods.  When he didn't win a major in a season, he started to get critized by everyone but he manage to overcome it and reach another peak of his career.  Even Nadal is in his own zone at the moment, he'll start to fall in some other day, by then people will start to criticize him like what they did to Federer.  At the moment, I think we have to leave Federer alone as he really need time to recover.

  7. Without a doubt Federer will win a few more grand slams in the years to come.

  8. of course he will win more. the real question is will he be a dominant as he was in 04-06? The answer to that is no. He has too much competition now. Its not just like O4 when his toughest competitor was Andy Roddick.

  9. yes and yes
