h**l Yeah he's waiting for the box off between margarrito, cotto, and a big payday for his trouble. Mayweather is a smart business man. the idea is to make the boxing fans promoters miss him and what he brings to the ring, plus other boxer over zealous to fight him which means more money less work.

Its hard to read his mind. But if that is the case, Cotto will win.

Boxers that don't stay active their skills tend to diminish considerably. Active boxers tend to have sharper skills then boxers that take long periods of rest between matches.

Floyd will be beat easy.

Well, it's tough to say. You have to factor two things. 1) Does Mayweather really want to return to the ring, regardless of situation and money? 2) Can Miguel Cotto continue his winning ways to make increase his star status in the sport?

If Miguel Cotto was to lose to Antonio Margarito or somebody else within the next couple of fights, then we can pretty much forget about any possibility of a Mayweather comeback to face Cotto. Now, if Cotto continues to win and build his status, then I truly wouldn't be surprise to see Mayweather comeback for a very anticipating showdown.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. The only reason he'll ever come back is to fight Cotto or whoever beats Cotto within the next year or so(whether it be Margarito, Williams, ect), so he can quiet any of his doubters. If he's not back by 09, he'll never be back.

Probably, he's gonna be like Brett Favre just have the "itch" to come back to boxing and he will and probably not be as good as he used to be. He quit while he was in his prime just like Ali and Ali came back and lost several fights. Hopefully that won't happen to Mayweather.

Not a chance in the world, Cotto would most likely butcher Floyd, and Floyd knows this.  If Mayweather does come out of retirement, it would be for Pacquiao, a much smaller man, and an easier fight for Floyd.
