  1. no, he sucks... only 109 career homers and 65 RBI's in his career. he has to work a little harder a get a starting job in the big show before he can become a hall of famer!

  2. He already is.  He and Paul Molitor are the greatest DH's of all time, in my opinioin.

  3. No. Although he has 500+ homeruns and 1700+ RBIs, he spent his career as a DH and, in doing so, inflated his offensive statistics by not being affected by defensive play. Many will say that Thomas does deserve to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer because Molitor was and Thomas has better stats than Molitor, but Molitor did not deserve it either. In my opinion, DHs and players that end their careers DHs should have all offensive stats that were obtained while not playing both sides should be stricken from consideration.

  4. yes

  5. no question he does. frank thomas was the albert pujols of the 90s and still was a great, great hitter even as he got up there in age. some health issues derailed him from possibly being the greatest right handed hitter in the history of baseball.

  6. No.

  7. I sure think he does.

  8. Yes. He's one of the top hitters of his era.

    20th in OBP

    23rd in SLG

    19th in runs created

All of this without proof of using performance enhancing drugs.

  9. well, in an era of steroids and cheating, frank thomas deserves to get into the hall of fame on the first ballot. he worked very hard his whole career, to get big and strong like he is, and he is an incredible hitter. HOF
