  3. Agree w Alana.  For Britain to save itself would mean civil a war now.

Fat lot the Americans care. All they care about is our forces supporting their ridiculous campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan.

  5. He can't possibly undo the damage he has done. Thank goodness he has less than 1/2 year left.

EDIT: I assumed you meant George Bush.

  6. Gordon Brown? Waaaay too far.

Great Britain?    We've been around for over 1000 years. We ain't going nowhere!

  7. If GB means Great Britain, then GB isn't on the brink it is over the edge

If GB means Gordon Brown, then no he's finished

  8. I would say!If Gordon Brown can walk on water!Which I very much doubt with his political capabilities! Then I would say!Yes!

  9. A quote I once read....

'This Government has taken us to the edge of an enormous precipice - since the, we have taken a great step forward !'

    lol !

  10. Gordon Brown - finished. Great Britain - finished.

  11. Check the figures the oil money is flowing in, might not help me or you but can save nulabor.con, if they ditch my local mp, Gordy.

  12. I'm assuming you're referring to George Bush, our president.  He is now a lame duck president so his ability to effect any real change is limited, but to his credit he is trying to open up the oil industry to drilling and also exploring and developing alternate energy sources.

Although his approval ratings have dipped to one-digit (9%), the lowest except for Harry Truman, as time passes he will be vindicated and revered as one of the greatest presidents of all time, right up there with Lincoln and Washington.

I hope GB didn't refer to Great Britian, and I don't have a clue who Gordon Brown is.  Sorry.

As for Great Britian, they have been taken over by the Muslim population, and their glory days are over.  We must take into account what happened to them and not make the same mistakes.

  13. We are far to overcrowded here now and Industry is being shipped abroad!!! Its way had it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. its a shame but i think he is done fore

  15. Gone far too far. On the News today, that the birthrate is at its highest for 30 years. Do I have to speculate about which section of the great 'British' population is banging out babies at a rate of knots?!?

I'll see you in the Mosque!

Sorry, just re-read your question and you are probably referring to Gordon Brown?! I thought you meant Great Britain. Anyway, what I said is what I think so c'est la vie!

  16. its not gone to far yet, i think if goverment just listened to us the public and saw what was happening to us in the real world then maybe just maybe things can improve, cos they are allowed to have the phat pay checks, 2 houses, cars, 8 course meals etc etc we are going to get poorer and poorer and the sad thing about it is We the public are allowing it to happen!!!

  17. From the brink of what?

The country is going through a downturn in the economic cycle, that's all. In a few years time, the cycle will turn again. All major countries are going through this. I think people should stop treating this like the end of the world. We all have slightly less money than we did a year ago - it's not the Apocalypse.

  18. The UK voters are beginning to miss Tony Blair - something that was bound to happen.
