Will GTA 4 Kill My ps3 blu-Ray Drive?

I'm thinking of getting GTA 4 for my ps3 but i have heard that it will kill your blu-ray drive and I was wondering if it will kill my blu-ray drive. I have a 40 gb ps3.

I heard of it, but my GTA IV is fine. Make sure your PS3 is connected to internet and let GTA IV download the latest patch (1.1 I think).

Heard from who....lol. Well I have a 80 gb Ps3 and its working fine dont worry about it

If you will play the game constantly, you will wear down the life of the laser and motor just like any other game, keep your system dust free and cool, and you will have no trouble playing for a long time....now go out there and jack some virtual cars!!
