Will Getting Rid Of My Over Bite Make My Chin Longer?

Question

i have like no chin and a square head.

and i have a huge overbite.

like 8 mm.

so once that is gone,

will i have a normal

length chin?

i had an overbite and got it fixed and yes it really did change my face alot!!

its not just your chin the whole bottom jaw settles right where it should be and looks alot better.

Go see an orthodontist.  He/she will take xrays to help predict the outcome of your tratment (braces).  Sometimes surgery, such as a saggital split osteotomy may be necessary.  It is fairly common for micrognathia and the results are dramatic.

Whoa...tell you what you need to see a Maxillofcial dental specialist...There is more than one way to achieve the results your looking for...it may take a combination of procedures but you need a specialist to examine you to see which procedure will achieve you r goal....You may need to have your lower jaw spliced and grafted forward...then again you may only need to have the Upper re-sectioned and moved back...hen of course you may need a Chin implant to complete the restoration and appearance you want...At any rate see the specialist before you see anyone else, you sound as though your a long way from a simple case.
