  1. Im sorry I cant give much detail. I doubt it will though. And even if it does will probably won't be around then. I hope not.

  2. The 'End of the World' is for cop outs. Get on with your life

  3. No - it will not mean the end of the world. The cost of mitigating it is huge and during the process many millions of people will suffer and a lot will die. The poorest people of the world are the most vulnerable and are already suffering.

I don't think God is punishing the world. I think it is something that the rich nations have brought on the world and yet they are in the best position to survive.

  4. what the h**l is wrong with you people? GLOBAL WARMING WILL HAPPEN WHILE YOUR HERE!!! Whether you like it or not.If it's a load of bull **** then why are there more and more hurricanes?typhoons?tornadoes? answer that. Look at Mount Fuji.25 years ago the tip was covered in snow.Today there is one little patch. You people are ridicolus.grow up..if your not part of the solution then your part of the problem..you can either die trying;or die frying.

    Have a nice day=/

  5. We have different prospects and ideas about global warming. It changes from person to person, their ideas. Some groups agree that it is a government conspiracy, yet other people (maybe only the government) believe that it is actually real. It is a fact that our world is changing, however is it warmimg? If is also a fact we have more Carbon Dioxide and other hazardous materials in our atmosphere, but can it really cause a global temperature increase? And can the melting of the polar ice caps really cause the sea level to rise, even to intense levels? So many questions, so many answers, in fact, the answer you hear from one person may be the opposite of what the next person says. Al Gore's "Inconvenient Truth" tells global warmimg from his perspective, but many other people believe he is lying and they express their ideas of the subject in a whole different manner, with very different ideas. And is that all it is, is just ideas? Only time will tell. We may never know.

  6. global warming is a bunch of c**p if we have record low temps we are really goin freeze to death if we have snow in places that normally never get snow  if we gotta shovel everyday man global warming is a bunch of c**p so they convince u to pay higher taxes they use half of extra to higher a bunch of guys to make up c**p and the rest to spend on the war hope that helps

  7. Just 30 years ago experts were claiming that we were heading for the next ice-age.  Now, just a short second later in the history of our young planet, we are heading to destroy the world.

Global Warming is a lie that many big companies want you to believe.  There is so much money available in being green.  Now, we DO need to be more conscious about keeping our planet healthy, but making our planet warm because of cars on the road is a load of Bu11$1t.  Let's worry about things that really matter, like ensuring we'll have enough potable water to sustain our population in the next 30 years.  That's the serious issue we face right now.

  8. Do you mean entropy? Because the world is much bigger than Earth and its inhabitants. Not that the Earth is in any danger... it's a huge ball of metal, there're not many things that can hurt it.

The worst that happens, some animals die, including humans.

Let me start off by saying we (my family and I) live 100% off of the grid and are completely self-sufficient with a 0% Carbon footprint. I believe this is the first step anyone can make “help the environment”. Once you convert your own life style to a greener more eco friendly route, you can start helping others.

We definitely didn't start global warming, but we definitely do contribute to it now.

Natural gas (or Methane along with other thanes) for example, is completely a natural contributer to global warming and is derived pretty much the same way as oil. ie. Matter (animal, plant etc) decomposes over time resulting in a anaerobic (hope I spelled that right) decay of non-fossil organic material / gas (natural gas or methane).

One problem with global warming is that the concept is so vague in the minds of the people. The critical interpretation is basically how it’s explained in school and the news. However most of the public see global warming connected with the ozone and pollutants which cause harmful greenhouse gasses, etc. therefore investigating and fighting for things like alternative energy (ie. Solar, wind, hydrogen, ethanol, biodiesel, etc)

Greenhouse gases are real and do contribute to global warming. Think of the different gas layers like ozone (o3) that circumference the globe as the clear plastic on a greenhouse. Longer rays of light from the Sun go in and reflect off different thermal masses bouncing back and creating shorter lengths of energy that cannot exist the plastic barrier. These beams then just continue to bounce around inside the green house until they’re finally absorbed completely (some do escape but very few), thereby warming the greenhouse greatly even in cold temperatures.

Basically there are 2 ways that this reaction (or lack of) affects the planet. Global warming and global cooling.

    1. as we add to the gases in the stratosphere, where the ozone layer is (Carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, etc), we add to the plastic of the greenhouse, trapping more short wave length energy and heating the earth more.

    2. as we deplete the ozone (with chlorofluorocarbons or CFCs), we allow more long wave length energy, which bounces back out to space without heating any thermal masses on earth, thereby cooling the planet.

It’s pretty easy to see the results..

    Melting ice sheets & glaciers

    Floods & droughts

    Great hurricanes & cyclones

    Seasonal extremes

    Seasonal phenomena’s

    Species extinction

    New & resurgent diseases

There are many ways to stop both global warming and cooling from accruing or at least slow them down until we can discover a way to reverse it, but Stop burning fossil fuels is the biggest.

I currently own 2 converted h2 vehicles which run on 100% hydrogen and 1 EV (electric vehicle), not to mention our home is completely off the grid, using alternative energy (solar, wind, etc)

  10. Depends what you mean by the end of the world.  First of all I want to say that there is no scientific debate about whether we are contributing to global warming.  It is the consensus of the worlds scientists.  Period.  There have been over 940 peer reviewed science research papers saying that this is true.  There have been ZERO such papers indicating the opposite.  There is a very simple reason for this.  A peer reviewed science research paper is one that has withstood the scrutiny of the worlds scientists to determine if it is good science.  The oil companies and those whose self interest is to disprove the global warming conclusions have billions of dollars they could throw at such scientific research.  Yet not one such peer reviewed paper has been published because it is nonsense that won't withstand the scrutiny of the world's scientists.

If that isn't enough to convince you, I don't know what will.

Will it end the world.  Well the world as we know it -Yes.  We are systematically destroying every ecosystem on earth, whether through global warming or just plain pollution and loss of habitat.

Much of this is due to the effects of fossil fuel burning and irresponsible use of chemicals made from fossil fuels.

Species are already going extinct at a rate 1000 times the background rate over hundreds of millions of years.  Man and his actions is undeniably causing this.  It coincides perfectly with the industrial revolution of the past 150 years or so.

We are inseparably part of the ecosystems we are destroying.  We cannot survive as a species separate from the whole. This is obvious to any thinking person.   We can reverse the trend.  There is hope.  We must change now.  There is no time left to waffle on these issues.

There's an old aphorism that says  "after man the desert"     It is entirely possible for man destroy most of life on this planet.  We are well along this road, but can still turn the bus around.

Everything is One  all is interconnected.  This is the truth that wise men have been telling us for thousands of years and which quantum physics confirms without a doubt.  The experience of being one with all is the central spiritual experience of every path to enlightenment there has ever been.   Therein lies the solution to our dilemna.  What the world needs more than anything else is higher consciousness.  In fact the environmental movement became what it is as a result of hightened awareness .  All spiritually aware people know what we are doing to the planet.  Without exception!  Most of our problems would solve themselves if we were all aware in this way.  The problems arise largely because we have an incorrect notion of reality and the universe.  I suggest reading the books by Fred Alan Wolf Phd.  He writes about quantum physics, consciousness and the nature of reality. Fascinating books like "The Spiritual Universe" and  "Taking the Quantum Leap".  This might give you some idea of what I am talking about.  We are spiritual beings having a physical experience.  Those who have awakened to this reality have no doubts whatsoever about what we are doing to our planet. I also recommend the books called "Conversations With God"  by Neale Donald Walsch.  Fundamentalists won't like it but those with a more open mind will find them both inspiring and liberating.  The ideas presented in those books are consistant with what all aware people know.

  11. no at worst are economy will be messed up and hella people will loss there homes but not the end of the world.

  12. Well unless we DO somthing about it Yes...its kinda scary....If we could just recycle more and use less oil then we could stop it

  13. Ha!  Do your own homework.

This question is answered every couple of days if you want to look it up and plagiarize the answers.  Think about what it might be like to gradaute without having had to actually do anything yourself.  What skills will you have at that point, and will you ahve the opprotunity to go back and get them?

  14. No, it will only change the world weather patterns and eventually the climate zones.  This global warming phenomena has happend before, and will again over time.  The whole subject has been over dramatized and hyped by the press and people like

    al

    gore

  15. yes it definitly could if we don't do anything about this and countinue what we are doing now.

  16. not really,  it will play a role in helping the end of the world.....although saying the end of the world is a bit of a over statement.

The closest thing we will ever come to the world ending is when the yellow stone park super volcano erupts. It'll pretty much alter the worlds climate into darkness and falling ash. and if it wasn’t bad enough having one of them, when one goes off, the other 10 also go off......= (

  17. Al Gore is an idoit. Global warming does not exist!!!!

  18. no its a conspiracy, there was an iceage, of course the earth is getting warmer. or else it still would be a iceage.

  19. no the ninja's will save the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!jk.. idk...im bored. i dont worry bout global warming bcause i am always cold!!!
