Will God bring wraith on humans for killing the gray squirrels?

To summarize the article:

Red squirrels are dying out with the newly introduced American Gray squirrels that are flourishing.

The last sentence of the article questions the morality of killing the gray ones for the sake of the red ones.

it is God's creation to do with as HE pleases.   "the trees clap their hands" the creatures of the deep give HIM praise" i am sure the gray squirrel gives HIM praise also,   as does the red squirrel,    (but has He given to humans to know which He wants to have priority, and live?)   should nature take its course??  IN Jesus name we pray,   God, it is your decision to perserve the gray squirrels, have those that are to handle the situation come up with a life saving measure to have the gray and red squirrels live in harmony with one another and us and all humankind  in Jesus name amen and amen thank you God, thank you Jesus

Given that human raise and kill many animals for food, and given that the grays aren't natives and the reds are endangered, it seems that killing the grays is reasonable.

I think we should stop messing with nature. It's survived on its own (and supported us at the same time) for millions of years. I think it can handle itself now.

Is it this now in America??/ save the grey squirrel and kill the human babies? God will NOT punish us for killing the grey squirrels but He WILL bring punishment for killing human babies in abortion!!
