Will God ever turn his back on me?

i've commited the same sin nearly 500000 times. masturbation. and i just can't seem to stop. how can i stop! and im addicted to pornography

Having no back to turn, I seriously doubt it.

Masturbation is healthy. Pornography...can cause problems, like you might have a hard time functioning with a REAL partner. But, that's about it - the Govt in the 1960's and again in the 1980's wasted millions of dollars studying the impacts of pornography, and they found that it is NOT dangerous and does NOT contribute to rape (because rape is not a sexual crime, but a crime of violence.)

Do you have hair growing on your palms? If not, m********e on, but seriously consider getting a life. A chronic love affair with the p***s could be a reflection of mental or emotional instability.

God never turns his back. Everyone sins. Unfortunately it is human nature and God knows that. The way to salvation is asking for forgiveness - even if you have to ask 500000 times! Because at least then you recognise the sin. Of course the best thing is to do something about it and force yourself not to sin....but God understands that isn't easy.

The biggest problem with pornography is that desensitizes you.  You'll find that real life is nothing like pornos, and that realization could have very lame effects on your actual s*x life.

God will never turn His back on you, but your continued state of sin is certainly taxing the relationship.

How to stop? First ask forgiveness. I would hope you do that daily. Asking forgiveness even a half million times is no strain on our God. And a amazingly, He forgets every sin every time.

Next, give the Holy Spirit time to work within you. This is gonna take some faith and it's where most people fail. If you sin without asking forgiveness, you'll never allow the Holy Spirit to work in you.

Marriage wouldn't be a bad idea. Paul said it's cool to remain single like he was, but if you're burning inside with lust, you're better off married.

Find another person of the same s*x who will hold you accountable. This is a tough one, because you'll have to be honest and then trust that person to be honest as well. But the truth is 99.99% of us have done it at one time or another.

I really don't believe masturbation is wrong... it's perfectly natural.  But pornography is wrong... so just give it up cold turkey.  

I think God would much rather have us m********e than go have s*x with strangers.

If god exists, then he gave you those urges, and they are entirely natural.  There is no sin in anything unless you hurt somebody else.  m********e away: sexual frustration is unhealthy and can lead to depression.

There is no prohibition in the Bible against masturbation.  Onan's sin was that he refused to impregnate his brother's widow before he impregnated his own wife (though he had s*x with both, he "spilled his seed upon the ground" with the widow).  This is different from masturbation.

These issues are fixable.  If you go to a Church, ask the pastor for some help.  You could always seek professional help.  The only way God turns His back on you is if you reject His son.
