Will Gred Maddux help the Dodgers the way he did in 2006?

Question

Possibly the greatest pitcher of his generation, barring Roger Clemens because of the steroid allegations. So, the question is, will Greg Maddux help the Dodgers to make the playoffs again?

MLB.com says the Dodgers are "close" to trading for Greg Maddux.

The Dodgers will make the playoffs, so that's all you really have to worry about.

IF the dodgers score more than 1 run he is gonna have many wins for the dodgers, it was sad to see him go out every five days and pitch a great game but never got any run support, i actually glad to see maddux go to a winning team ........

Maddux will bring a lot to the Dodgers. He brings a veteran presence and leadership. I think he will do well for LA.

I'd say he will help them. He is probably the best control pitcher ever. The problem being with san diego is that they don't have the offense that the dodgers do. If the dodgers can get maddux, then I'm definitely going to a game he's pitching in.
