Will Guitar Hero World Tour Instruments Work With Rock Band 1?

I am aware they will work with rock band 2, and rock band 1 instruments will work with guitar hero world tour... but as im interested in the new guitar hero instruments, but live in the uk (probably not getting rock band 2 for ages!) i still want to be able to play rock band 1.

Yeah... on holiday I've used a Guitar Hero guitar with Rock Band 1 no problem.

Delightfully, the answer is yes.

Last month at the E3 conference, Neversoft and Activision announced that the equipment will be compatible for both upcoming games.

What is also said, is that if you have a Rock Band drum kit and plug it into GH:WT, the game will recognise it's not an official GH drum kit and change it down from 5 buttons to 4.

However, it doesn't state whether Guitar Hero World Tour instruments will work with Rock Band 2, just the first one at the moment.

Everything will work for definate - well all apart from the drums!  I've still not heard any word from this, and never got to try them myself.

Lets hope rock bands 2 doesn't take too long - HOPEFULLY we can still get the downloads, as they are compatible with RB1 (or so the developers say in the interviews)
