  1. Most of the bigger stores will open and the places like petrol stations and newsagents,but they will not be open for the usual amount of time.

  4. Yes.  The only two days of the year they are legally obliged to close is Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.

  5. Yes, they almost certainly will be, but some of the smaller chain stores might only be opener shorter hours. A way of getting a clue is that if the store opens for shorter hours on a Sunday, it'll be open for these hours on Bank Holidays as well.

  8. Most if not all will be open, maybe not 24 hours though, in the case of supermarkets.
