  1. Don't worry! Homeschooling is and will remain a viable educational alternative in California. Believe it or not California homeschooling organizations have some of the best legal minds in the country at work on the current legal situation.

I have served on CHN's legal team and believe me when I tell you, these ladies and men are smart cookies. We have fought and won some very nasty legal challenges. This one won't be any different.

With the Governor, Attorney General, Superintendant of Public Education and many legislators on our side, we can't lose. Besides, with the financial issues facing the state, it would be a disaster if every homeschooled child were to enroll in the public school.   :)

    Happy Homeschooling!

  2. First off, localhs is 100% on the mark.

But if for some reason homeschooled children must now attend public school, it would be the state's responsibility to educate every child.  Meaning that parents whose kids don't receive an education now have the option to sue the state.  Too bad the child still loses with this...

  3. Yes, it will be available.  Not to worry.
