Will Hurricane Dolly hit Houston?

Nope.  Dolly is going to hit the Brownsville area, near the mouth of the Rio Grande (the Texas/Mexico border).

In Houston, you'll probably get some extra rain and wind from Dolly's fringes, but that will be it.

that will tell you your weather and if you are in any danger of a hurricane or anything of that nature

no. it's going to get as far as corpus and i think that's it. then it's going to head back into mexico
