Will Hurricane Fay effect me?

I'm traveling to Port Canaveral On August 21st. And from there, I'm going to the Bahamas on a cruise. Will the hurricane effect me? Is it too risky to go???? There's only one more day till i leave!!!

If you paid any sort of attention to the news you would know that Fay is only a tropical strom and not a hurricane and its only bringing rains and winds. Watch the weather channel

It won't "effect" you, but it might "affect" your travel plans.  It's not a hurricane, only a tropical storm with lots of rain and wind.  It's possible that your flights may be delayed, but hopefully you're going down to PC the day before your cruise, so you'll have a margin for error.  If not, your trip insurance would cover missing the boat, most likely.  

If there were a hurricane or other weather problems, the cruise line is well aware of that and would make plans accordingly, which might mean a delayed departure or a change in ports during the cruise.

Re your flights - make sure you have information on what other flights might get you to your destination and have the phone numbers of those other airlines so if there are delays you can get on the phone and try to make other plans if necessary.
