We are set to arrive in Disney Aug 30th. (Next Saturday) Do, you think there will be good weather by the time we come down? I looked at the ten day forecast, and it shows thunderstorms up until Aug 27th. Do you think the Hurricane weather will have passed, and no other hurricane will follow? Do others usually follow? Should I cancel our vacation? I'm freaking out!!! Help!!

  1. Tropical storm Fay will be long gone by then. Who knows if there is another one coming. They don't predict anything , so I think your good to go. Have fun.

  2. Fay will be long gone. It's Disney take the gamble everybody else does.Remember The Sunshine State.

  3. Just go. The hurricane will be long gone (not yet a hurricane by the way) and it only really lasts for the days its there. It's a small storm. You're clear. And if another one comes during your vacation well then it's an experience for your family. And your family will be perfectly safe. Unless it's bigger than like a 3 you're safe. (Of course if there's a hurricane Disney will shut down the rides. but you can still do other things. BONDING TIME!)

  4. You should be more than fine.  I remember after Charlie, having the wonderful world of no electric for two weeks...but it was beautiful weather.  The skies were clear and really blue.  You'll be so far from the impact zone that there should be no problem with the exact road surrounding disney...and Fay is small...so I wouldn't even worry about the roads from wherever you are coming from.  Have a great vacation!
