Will I Like Liquor Whiskey?

Question

I was wondering if Alberta Premium Rye Whiskey has a STRONG alcohol taste to it and if i would like it by the way i drink Jack Daniels but i find its TOO strong.

If you are looking for a smooth whiskey, Woodford Reserve is the best I have had. By definition it is actually a bourbon (my preference) but IMO it has even Crown beat. Smooth taste, no hangover. A little pricey, but worth it. You'll never drink Jack again after tasting this stuff.

If you don't like Jack you probably won't like Alberta Preimium.  It has way more flavour.

Jack Daniels is a Rye Whiskey also.  Try a non-Rye, like Windsor Canadien, or Seagrams 7, they're much smoother.  The smoothest of all is Crown Royal...expensive too.

Sheesh, Jack's not a Rye, it's a Tennessee Style.

Anyway, Rye is much lighter than Tennessee style. I don't know about Alberta Rye specifically, but if you've tried Crown Royal or Canadian Club, which have a lot of rye as a base, you have some idea how light a pure Rye might be.
