Well this problem has been bothering me for a while. I had s*x with this boy and thought he was clean (dumb me), but any way I started notice small bumps In my v****a around the clitoris and the walls. Well I went to the clinic and they told me that I could have the warts and she did the vinegar test and it was white a little but she told me to go to the doctor. Well the bumps went from my vaginal area to my a**s. I t wasn't in my v****a any more so now I am thinking that this is warts. But after a while it just disappeared and I haven't had it since and that's been a year and half ago. Do I still have the virus, and was this really warts.

  1. When a virus infection of the STD type disappears on its own, it usually is most dangerous.

Syphilis does that too, but then it re appears a long while later and eventually it kills you without any outward symptoms.

Get to a doctor to take a blood sample, to go to the lab for specific tests.

  2. i couldnt tell you only your doctor can BUT if it is the virus it never really goes away but rather comes back when your stressed or ill or down with something, its the cold sore virus but down below

  3. It was previously thought that HPV stayed in the body forever. However, recent studies looked at pap tests of women with HPV. They found that in 50% of cases, the virus was cleared by the immune system in 5 months. In 91% of cases, the virus was cleared in two years or less.

Relax! The virus will be cleared by your immune system, as long as it isn't compromised by a disease like HIV or cancer or something. Work on being as healthy (both physically and mentally) as possible so your body can fight the virus. It is a GREAT sign that they went away without any treatment. A year and a half is a long time....Your immune system probably cleared it.

I got genital warts after being raped. I had them treated and they haven't come back. People told me depressing things like it was "forever" However, I educated myself and talked to experts. I now know that in two years, I will most likely have completely cleared the virus.

  4. well the are new studies using sensitive DNA techniques have shown that through immunological response the virus can either be cleared or suppressed to levels below what PCR tests can measure. for more info about it you can visit http://genitalwarts.weebly.com

  5. I couldn't tell you for sure what you have but I do know that the genital warts virus is the exact same virus as the regular warts virus. They have just appeared around your genitals.

I freaked out when I was pregnant as one appeared and I went to the doctor thinking my husband was cheating on me ( and I knew he wasn't the type) but was told that it is not necessarily an STD at all.

If you have ever had warts anywhere on your body they can appear on your genitals as well. They are contagious by touch so you could touch someones hand who has warts and they can appear anywhere on your body..

You can also have them once and never have them appear again, in the same way regular warts can appear on your hands, disappear and never come back. The one I had disappeared not long after I gave birth 3 1/2 years ago and has never come back.

Hope this helps, but just remember, it is not necessarily an STD and you may never see them again.

  6. Hmm...she didn't tell you what it was? Well were the bumps looking like moles like you pull them off your skin because that's what warts looks like genital wrats(hpv) causes cervical cancer only some types but you should get vaccinated with gardasil also hpv only stays in your system 1 to 2 years so it will go away its an sti not an std which means a sexually transmitted infection however your bumps could've been something else if she didn't specify so go to the doctor and do a whole series of std testing just to be sure
