  1. No, chances are you'll assemble them upside down!

  2. this may help your confidence , find a older golf club . disassemble the club reassemble , 5 times , there is your practice , and confidence . good luck .

  3. Yes, easily. The shaft is cut to length, although the length may be fine for you when you receive it. The shaft is epoxied to the head with some preparation. The grip is slipped on with grip solution and held in place by grip tape applied to the shaft. Voila! Done.

You'll need a vise to hold the club during assembly, some emery cloth to prep the shaft for epoxy that keeps the head from flying off (kidding), and something to catch the excess grip solution with.

That's how I started clubmaking with a Golfsmith kit.

  4. You will be able to do it.  How well you do it is questionable.  It is not that difficult, but if you are handy with tools it will help.  It also helps to have the right equipment to work with and if you are only thinking of making one or two it would be cheaper to pay for them to assemble it than to buy all the tools needed.
