Will I be able to become fluent in Spanish in Barcelona even though the main language is Catalan?

I'm going abroad to Barcelona for a year to learn Spanish, but I know that Catalan is the dominant language there. Will I be able to become fluent in Spanish? Would it be better for me to go to another Spanish city? I just love Barcelona so much!

You can still learn Spanish when you are in Barcelona.
