I went to an appointment with the eye doctor a couple a days ago, and it turns out I'm near sighted.

I have to get glasses before I go back to school on September 2nd, will I be able to use them to deflect lasers? That sure would be useful during school laser fights.

  1. Yes. Because you can be a super hero and ****.

I have glasses so I should know. 8D

  2. Of course! Even contacts work great, but glasses help to protect your secret identity. Just pick out some stylin' frames and you're good to go! Watch out, though - they don't protect against food fights. And contrary to popular belief, getting a carrot stuck in your eye socket doesn't improve your vision.

  3. I hate to be a soil sport, but your glasses will make it worse since they will do a better job of focusing the light on your retina, making the damage from visible lasers worse.  Not to mention, the fact that you can now see clearly makes the loss of your vision that much more traumatic.

My personal approach when anticipating a laser battle, is to paint large cartoon eyes on my forehead.  This causes my opponents to aim for the large cartoon eyes rather than my real eyes.  It also keeps my opponents from sneaking up on me, since they see the large unblinking eyes and think that I am staring directly at them even when I am not.  It also keeps the large predatory birds at bay.

  4. Yes it possible. Simply because lasers light have similar properties with that of normal light except the following

    Lasers are very monochromatic

                     directional and others
