Will I be able to drive myself to my first assigned post?

I will be going to Ft Leonard Wood for basic & AIT. Will I be allowed drive myself to wherever I am assigned? Or will I have to take a bus or plane?

  1. Yes, when you get ready to PSC you'll fill out a form for personnel to prepare your orders.  You request POV.  You'll get mileage and per diem.

    Of course, if you're going to Germany or Korea none of this applies.
