I was convicted of burglary 17 years ago. I served my time and paid my fines and completed probation. I have not been in trouble since then.

  1. It is possible.  Your problem is with the Canadians (if they find out you are a felon) Why don't you just apply and see what happens?

  2. There are a number of reasons you could be denied a passport. Being a convicted felon is probably amongst them. As for traveling in/through Canada; If you even have a D.U.I. on your record, they won't let you in, as it is considered a felony in Canada. They don't care how long ago it was, no felons, means no felons.

    Don't get your hopes up.
